Kiira Sisman is an LPC and has been part of the Therapy Cypress team for more than 5 years. She graduated from St. Edward’s University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She received a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University in 2018.

 

Kiira enjoys working with the adolescent, teen, and young adult population. She has worked with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, bullying issues, and self-harm. Kiira co-led a positive life practices group for teens who struggled with self-harm and emotional and behavioral difficulties, which led her to specializing in working with teens.

 

Kiira utilizes a Person-Centered approach with solution-focused techniques. She provides clients with the tools and coping skills they need to manage their struggles.

 

In her free time, Kiira enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves to travel and getting to experience new cultures around the world.
