Adia Naba, LCSW
Adia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and an independent contractor working out of the Therapy Cypress office.
Adia is a dedicated and passionate public servant with several years of clinical social work and mental health experience. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in
Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and her Master’s degree in Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago.
Her professional experience ranges from providing therapy and case management services for Veterans diagnosed with severe and chronic mental health disorders (PTSD, schizophrenia, and major depression); children and adolescents in the academic/school and child welfare settings in the Chicagoland area. In both settings, Adia has developed an expertise in trauma informed
therapy, behavioral modification interventions and mindfulness techniques. She also worked with the geriatric population providing in-home care management and counseling services to Humana’s chronically physically ill members.
Adia’s personal interests in health and wellness has evolved from her teaching Yoga in fitness and social service sectors. She provides strengths based, client
centered and holistic approach while working with her clients and families. Adia truly enjoys helping individuals, families and communities improve and achieve their goals through advocacy and promoting self-development.
